Quote of the day:

"Now I see that the Englishman’s God is a good God, for He hath heard you and sent you rain—and that without storms and tempests and thunder, which usually we have with our rain, which breaks down our corn; but yours stands whole and good still. Surely your God is a good God.”

Thanksgiving Special

The Famous Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to this growing family. This week we are taking a break from the never-ending news cycle to spend time with family and reflect specifically on gratitude. Gratitude for our God, a country that enables us to worship freely, and a family of faith committed to standing with our risen King.

Today we are sharing a chapter from a book written by our friends from Wallbuilders, Tim and David Barton about the first Thanksgiving. Set aside time today to join with your family in reading this chapter, and express your gratitude to the same God whom the Pilgrims thanked at the outset of the tradition we now know as Thanksgiving.

We are praying for you as you celebrate with family and thank God for all that this life is. Pray for us as we seek to be helpful to the remnant as we all further develop the paradigm through which we see the world, walk with Jesus, and respond to current events.

WallBuilders is an organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built – a foundation which, in recent years, has been seriously attacked and undermined. In accord with what was so accurately stated by George Washington, we believe that “the propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which heaven itself has ordained.”
