Pediatricians Denounce Transitions, Trump Trial Intergrity, 4 Hostages Rescued,
“Men do not differ much about what things they will call evils; they differ enormously about what evils they will call excusable.”

Pediatricians Denouce Transitions
A coalition of pediatricians, health policy groups, and conservative organizations, led by the American College of Pediatricians, argues against transgender medical treatments for children and adolescents, claiming they lack evidence of effectiveness and pose significant health risks. They urge mainstream medical associations to cease promoting gender-affirming care, favoring psychotherapy for underlying mental health issues instead. This stance contrasts with the position of major U.S. medical organizations and the federal government, which support gender-affirming care as beneficial for mental health and well-being. European countries have also shown caution, limiting such treatments pending further research.
When fools spout folly, wisdom must respond (Proverbs 26:5).
When lies whisper, truth must shout (Proverbs 8:1-6).
This is how it is done: “We are speaking with a loud, unified voice. Enough”, American College of Pediatricians.
When ambassadors for destruction make their case, ambassadors for good must continually make theirs (Galatians 6:9).
Wisdom will be vindicated by her deeds (Matthew 11:19), but the good deed of testifying to the Truth is the necessary work of good men (2 Timothy 2:1-3).
Jesus came to testify about the Truth (John 18:37), and those who love Him and know Him believe His Truth (John 8:47) and follow His example in speaking it (Ephesians 4:15).
The remnant needs to learn that humility is not proven by listening to “experts,” submitting to positional authority, or going along with the masses but by holding fast to the Word of God (1 Corinthians 15:58). Humility is displayed when you submit to the will and way of God irrespective of cost to self (Proverbs 3:5-6).
“If a million people say a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.” - Anatole France
“If 450 prophets of Baal say a foolish thing, it is still a foolish thing.” - Elijah
If the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, and the American Psychological Association endorse destructive and dangerous procedures, we need courageous truth-tellers to speak up and demand that evil is required to “immediately stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children or adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex.”
We can be thankful for this example of obedience by the ACPs, and we should imitate their obedience so others are similarly thankful for our boldness in these sad times (Zechariah 8:16).

Trump Trial Integrity
Judge Juan Merchan, presiding over Donald Trump's hush money trial, informed both prosecutors and Trump's attorneys about a Facebook post from a user claiming to be related to a juror. The post, no longer visible, stated Trump would be convicted a day before the verdict, raising concerns about jury deliberation integrity. Jurors were under strict orders not to discuss the case. Media investigations suggested it could have been a false claim from an "internet troll." However, the judge's disclosure caused political commentators to continue to question the trial's integrity and fairness. The jury deliberated from May 28 to May 30, finding Trump guilty on all 34 charges related to a scheme to cover up a payment to Stormy Daniels.
Upholding integrity is crucial (Proverbs 11:13, 10:9), especially within the American criminal justice system. Lady Justice, symbolizing fair and equal administration, is often depicted blindfolded to represent impartiality. This blindfold signifies that justice should be administered objectively, without fear, favor, or prejudice, regardless of wealth, power, or status. Lady Justice's scales symbolize weighing evidence based on facts and merit rather than preconceived notions of the individual on trial.
From the Old Testament to the New Testament, the Bible clearly warns against partiality in judging (Leviticus 19:15, Deuteronomy 1:17, Deuteronomy 16:19, Proverbs 24:23, James 2:1). These principles are foundational to the ideals of the American legal system.
This is a developing story with much to be confirmed, and we must navigate it with both discernment and grace (Proverbs 2:6-7). If the concerns about the fairness of Trump's trial and procedure are valid, they warrant attention and sufficient correction. Just like justice would demand this for any other citizen due to their rights. Simultaneously, some of Trump's alleged (and confirmed) behavior cannot be tied to an exemplary regenerated life that walks with the Spirit and seeks to please the Lord (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Galatians 5:16).
Wisdom demands that we seek justice and truth but say no more than necessary on contentious issues (Proverbs 17:27-28). Regardless of this trial's disputed details and results and the upcoming election, our call is to walk in a manner worthy of the Gospel (Philippians 1:27).

Four Hostages Rescued
Israel rescued four hostages kidnapped by Hamas during a music festival on October 7, identified as Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv, in a complex operation in the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza. The rescue operation involved Israeli airstrikes, resulting in significant casualties among Palestinians, including 274 deaths and around 700 injuries, according to Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry. This operation comes amid ongoing negotiations between Israel and Hamas to end the conflict, with U.S. officials commending the rescue but urging for a ceasefire to secure the release of remaining hostages and provide relief to civilians in Gaza. The rescued hostages are reported to be in good medical condition and are undergoing further examinations in Israel.
In war, there is no outcome without loss, victory without death, and peace without pain. It is imperative to note that Hamas remains the singular reason a ceasefire has not occurred. Our own Secretary Blinken is traveling back to the Middle East to again "pressure" Hamas to agree to a ceasefire. Once again, we seem to be confronted with the reality that these terrorists seem comfortable with putting their fellow man, woman, and child in harm's way by being unwilling to make concessions, release hostages, or agree to a ceasefire. There is a reason America at least professes that "we don't negotiate with terrorists" as it doesn't seem a very fruitful endeavor.
The world is rightly grieved at the crisis faced by families and innocents in Gaza (Proverbs 31:8-9), and Israel rightly demands that their citizens be released, and they rightly defend their national security against assuredly wicked men (Romans 13:3-4).
As the political turmoil intensifies with an increasingly strained war cabinet and complicated international relations, we must pray that righteousness alone prevails. The world should not be shocked that terrorists are prolonging, enabling, andeven causing the suffering of their own people because they do not "relent from their evil" and despise the truth (Proverbs 2:14). A very harsh justice awaits them if it is not already here (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).
May Israel be blessed with precision, wisdom, and favor as they seek to extinguish evil, and may those who suffer unthinkable circumstances be granted grace, provision, and peace in Palestine and with God. Come, Lord Jesus.
