Today’s Headlines
Israel Drops Leaflets
In the latest developments, Israel has dropped leaflets in southern Gaza, urging civilians to evacuate four towns on the eastern edge of Khan Younis, raising concerns about the conflict expanding into previously considered “safe regions”. The leaflets read, “For your safety, you need to evacuate your places of residence immediately and head to known shelters … Anyone near terrorists or their facilities puts their life at risk, and every house used by terrorists will be targeted.”
The leaflets have caused concern that more individuals will flee and continue to populate already densely populated “safe” areas. The UN's human rights chief has warned of potential outbreaks of infectious diseases and hunger in these Palestinian regions. Tens of thousands of people have already fled from north to south Gaza in recent weeks, crowding into UN-run shelters and family homes in Khan Younis, the biggest city in the south. Overall, the situation remains tense with ongoing clashes and escalating violence.

The Remnant's Response
War is a horrible reality in a world made horrible by sin. (Deuteronomy 28:15-68) War is a needed remedy for the wickedness and evil birthed from sin. (Romans 13:3-4)

Here is a clear statement on the need for Israel to act forcefully and with finality from a surprising source. If you didn't have Hillary Clinton on the View as a highlighted video in today's remnant news on your "bingo card," we wouldn't blame you. But all truth is God's truth and sometimes truth from a surprising source makes the truth even more pronounced. (Numbers 22:22-35)
Most Americans don’t know that our nation attempted to warn the citizens of Japan of the coming doom before we bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Below is an excerpt from what is known as the “LeMay Leaflet,” which reflects America’s effort to do exactly as the current Israeli army is doing in Gaza.
So, in accordance with America’s humanitarian policies, the American Air Force, which does not wish to injure innocent people, now gives you warning to evacuate the cities named and save your lives. America is not fighting the Japanese people but is fighting the military clique that has enslaved the Japanese people.
It is reported that as soon as the leaflets fell, they were immediately confiscated by the Japanese Kenpei (Imperial Japanese Army) which, under the order of the emperor, was more concerned with keeping their people deceptively confident than appropriately informed and willing to surrender before a coming judgment. (See Jeremiah 28) As happened in Jeremiah’s time, and is happening today in Gaza, there is a lying enemy who cares not for those under his deceptive and failed rule, encouraging the naive and foolish to continue to mock their coming judgment. (2 Peter 3:1-8) It is the job of the remnant to continually sow gospel seeds (“leaflets”) of truth, in word and deed, to men everywhere no matter how many times they are snatched up by an enemy committed to their destruction. (Matthew 13:19) God will hold those leaders accountable who in any way suppress the truth which He intends to use to set others free, (2 Peter 2:1-2) and He will hold us accountable if we don’t disperse the Truth He intends we declare. (Ezekiel 33) While we pray for those surrounded by coming judgment in Gaza, make sure those around you know how to pray for the judgment soon coming to them. (Proverbs 24:11-12, Revelation 22:12)
Osama bin Laden “Letter to America” Goes Viral
TikTok influencer Lynette Adkins has stirred controversy by endorsing Osama bin Laden's "Letter to America," a document justifying the 9/11 attacks and infused with antisemitic rhetoric. Adkins, boasting over 175,000 followers, encouraged viewers to delve into the letter, sparking an intense online discourse. The video quickly surpassed garnered 800,000 views and tens of thousands of likes, propelling the hashtag #lettertoamerica to over 4.5 million views. Bin Laden's letter, blaming the U.S. for supporting Israel's occupation of Palestine, has reignited debates surrounding the tragic events of 9/11. You can watch a compilation of viral responses here. Some users expressed profound shifts in perspective, with one stating, "I will never look at life the same, I will never look at this country (USA) the same." Adkins praised TikTok for challenging conventional thinking, while another user attracted over 640,000 views by posting the entire letter. The Guardian, which had hosted the letter since 2002, promptly removed it due to the sudden surge in social media attention. This incident underscores mounting concerns about the promotion of extremist content on popular social platforms.

The Remnant's Response
The battle for what is truly true is the eternal battle. (Genesis 3:1) The "propaganda" you believe will determine what problems you will have. The woman of wisdom calls (Proverbs 9:1-11), as does the woman of folly (Proverbs 9:13-18). Who talks to your heart on 'TikTok' determines more than you can imagine. (Psalm 1:1-4) Every day, there are letters to the "America of your heart," and great care must be taken which ones you read and allow to inform your perceptions. (Proverbs 4:10-13) Wisdom begs you to "not enter the path of the wicked, and do not proceed in the way of evil men." (Proverbs 4:14)
"Avoid it, do not pass by it; Turn away from it and pass on." (Proverbs 4:15) Be warned, "The way of the wicked is like darkness"; those that scroll to it "do not know over what they stumble." (Proverbs 4:19) Be warned what you read, what you believe, and what you think is true. "If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, but if you scoff, you alone must bear it." (Proverbs 9:12)
America is full of young and old that have drunk from the cup of deception to such an extent that it makes them rally for terrorists who rape, torture, and kill innocents; support abortion and elect representatives that cheer legislation that permits infanticide at every stage of development in the womb; insist on the misuse of pronouns that contradict biology and reason, demand that the mentally ill are given access to locker rooms, bathrooms, and prisons of members of the vulnerable opposite sex, delight in watching sick adult men who think they are women dance in sexually suggestive ways and be normalized and celebrated at "drag queen story hours" in front of impressionable young children and believe Osama Bin Laden and his anti-Semitic beliefs and twisted logic are compelling. Only our commitment to a reasonable word count keeps us from pointing out more of the symptoms of the "woke mind virus" that is poisoning our world. This is not a new problem in our world, deception and lies have always had their victims. Two thousand years ago, a member of the remnant wrote to his friends that they should not be "conformed to the world" but "be transformed by the renewing of their minds" so that they can experience the good, acceptable, and perfect way of our good God. (Romans 12:2) He called the 'woke' of his day to "wake up" even as the remnant must do today. (Ephesians 5:14) Today is not the day to grow weary but the day to jump into the battle and create "content" (1 Timothy 4:11-13) that when consumed by others will lead to a culture of life (Proverbs 3:13-18) not a culture of confusion and death. (Proverbs 13:13,15)
Beware of 'influencers' who are not first influenced by the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (Matthew 15:14) Much of what is celebrated and compelling today will tomorrow be confronted and condemned. (Matthew 15:13)
More Palestine Protests
Pro-Palestinian protesters clashed with police outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters on Wednesday night, demanding a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. While Democratic leaders, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, were at a campaign event inside, demonstrators disrupted the gathering with chants.
Wearing black shirts reading "Cease Fire Now," protesters aimed to block entrances, urging politicians to acknowledge their candlelight vigil for peace. The situation escalated according to Capitol Police, as individuals began to engage in "illegal and violent" behaviors. Police directed lawmakers to the basement, leading to a swift evacuation. Nearly ninety protestors, and six officers were treated for injuries, with one protester being arrested.

The Remnant's Response
Pray with us that these protestors subscribe to the Remnant News and then soon, by God's grace and the ingesting of the Word (Colossians 4:2-6) and the application of truth to their hearts (James 1:25), come to the understanding that the best chance to "free the Palestinian people" is the destruction of the oppressive leadership practices of Hamas. Now is not the time for a cease-fire but for Hamas’ leadership to cease.
